BODO Vino Class Series - Bouquet Bar and Floral Arranging
We are thrilled to be bringing a class to BODO Vino on the following dates:
August 22nd - Cloth Flower Printing
September 12th - Bouquet Bar and Floral Arranging
The class series will cater to a variety of skill sets and activities such as bouquet creation, cloth flower printing, and educational information about the caring of your flowers both in the ground and once picked. Our first class will focus on cloth flower printing, and the second will include instruction for arranging flowers and an abundance of flowers for you to create your own arrangement with. So whether you are an experienced botanist or wanting to try something new, we would love to see you there!
What is cloth flower printing? It is an ancient Japanese technique for hammering plants to create patterns on fabric called Tatakizome. This creates a botanical print on fabric. In this class we will use fresh flowers from our farm. These flowers will get pounded onto the fabric in order to leave their dye in their place. You get to be the artist in designing your own fun and beautiful pattern.
Bouquet Bar and Floral Arranging In this class you will be shown the process for arranging flowers in a vase arrangement. An abundance of fresh flowers from our farm will be available for you to practice with after instruction. We will be there to help guide you and answer your questions as you create your own gorgeous bouquet to take home and enjoy.
All supplies for the classes will be provided. Don't forget to grab an appetizer with your friends on your way in!
Cancellation policy: cancellation for classes must happen at least 48 hours in advance in order for refund. Cancellation within 48 hours will be given credit at the farm.
